Good to know.
Before you join.
Clear answers about free access, feeds and what to expect.
Is Open Alerts free?
Yes. Access to the Open Alerts Discord community is free. You need a Discord account to join.
What can I follow?
Choose Pokémon, One Piece, retail deals, or a mix. Individual feeds and optional food offers are available through the selection panel. Some feeds cover more than one interest.
Will I get a notification for every post?
Seeing a feed and receiving notifications are separate choices. Optional role alerts cover matching new live posts; recovered message history stays silent. Discord and device notification settings still apply. Delivery is not guaranteed.
Why do some channels say No Access?
Feed channels become available after you choose the relevant interests in #choose-alerts and submit your choices. Start there before opening a feed link.
Can I change my selections?
Yes. Reopen the panel in #choose-alerts whenever you want to change your interests. Quick select covers broad categories; Advanced Filters lets you choose individual feeds.
Can I post in the feeds?
Feed channels are read-only. Share ideas, improvements or a missing category in #suggestions.
Are the deals or stock guaranteed?
No. Offers and availability can change quickly, and feeds may be delayed or interrupted. Verify the current price, stock, shipping costs and terms at the retailer before buying.
What information do I need to share?
Feed selection does not require your location or personal details. Your chosen roles may be visible to other members. Discord manages your account and has its own privacy settings.
Where can I get help?
Use #suggestions inside the Open Alerts Discord community for feedback or setup questions. Check #announcements for server changes and feed-status updates.
